No handling of the blade is needed, just turn the square dial on the back for the desired thickness: 0.5mm, 1.3 mm, 2.0 mm or 3.0 mm slices. Fantastic slicers!
Easy to clean up. Easy to use!
I love the grater for adding mozzarella cheese directly on top of salads (or other items) — makes a nice find grate (would be great with hard cheeses, but nothing softer than mozzarella).
Works great, but super duper sharp. Make sure you use a guard (included) or some anti-cut kitchen gloves.
